Huggin` Molly`s in Abbeville

OUTSTANDING! Why have we never been here before? I had a medium rare burger with chunky cut fries, and it was excellent! The wife had the Sunday Buffet, and it was superb! It features fresh fried chicken, ZIPPER PEAS, creamed potatoes, greens, delicious bread, sweet potato casserole, and MORE. All the veggies are locally sourced and prepared with amazing skill. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is beautiful, and the service on point.

Beautiful building. Good service. Great food was ruined by entirely way too much salt. That's all I could taste. I recommend anyone dining there to specify low or no salt. If you want dessert you'll have to make two trips.

Yummy food. Average prices. Good service. Classic old school dinner with ice cream, shakes, sundaes, burgers.... A fun place to eat.

Outstanding stop on the way to the beach. The creamy sauce on the chicken supreme was delicious. My husband's eyes glazed over as he enjoyed the country fried steak, very possibly the best he's ever had (he's on a quest). The kids meals were perfect for the children, staples of grilled cheese, burgers and mac 'n cheese. The decor and atmosphere was awesome, as was the staff and service. The kids really got into the story of Huggin' Molly and it made the experience that much more fun. We'll definitely be back to try the spaghetti when we pass this way again.

The atmosphere was amazing. The food was delicious. The chicken strips were to die for. My sister went crazy for the chicken and dumplings.

We just moved here to abbeville! The restaurant was so nice inside! Wife and I loved it! Food was delicious and very fairly priced, we look forward to our next visit.

I love this place. It has an amazing atmosphere. I love the soups they serve, which change daily. My favorites are Tomato Basil and Loaded Potato. I frequently get takeout here.

I love this place. I finally timed it right while traveling from PCB Florida in route to Georgia so that I could stop in for a bite to eat. Be sure to check the hours of operation here. The service was excellent. Thank you Erica! We had the fried chicken breast special with mashed potatoes and green beans, the fried fish and chips and the French dip sandwich. The food was good. No complaints. The atmosphere is fabulous and the strawberry milkshake was delicious! Im looking forward to returning to try other dishes and desserts. Totally worth the 2.9 miles you have to take off of the main road to get there.

An old-fashioned diner. Very awesome. Kids (12 and under) eat free with the purchase of an adult dinner on Thursdays 5pm-7pm.

We always stop here when we pass thru Abbeville. The food and sercice is always top notch. The whole place is decorated very nicely with old memorabilia. If you are in the area its definitely worth the time to stop and check it out and at least have one of their fabulous desserts

The history behind this restaurant and the decorations make this a very unique place! The service is great, and the food is always very good and quick to be served. Great 50's - 60's place - excellent food and service

We have passed through Abbeville a 1000 times and finally stopped at Huggin Molly's. The sampler appetizer of fried green tomatoes, cheese biscuits, onion rings and fried pickles was delicious. My husband had the red beans and rice with andouille sausage and I had the French dip sandwich. Both were very good, so ir was worth the stop.

As wonderful as the food is, the atmosphere is even better! It looks like a 1940-50’s soda shop and pharmacy. Fantastic interior and historical items. The service was GREAT! Our sever and hostess were both knowledgeable about the history of the restaurant and the town of Abbeville, Al. My husband had the fried chicken sandwich and I had the fish and chips. (Catfish-fried). It was fantastic and the prices were reasonable! We plan to make this our must-stop when we travel to and front Columbus Ga, which we do frequently. We look forward to going back.

Happened up on this place by chance and it was awesome! The portions are huge! I had sweet potatoes fries as am appetizer and they were wonderful. Southern fried chicken sandwich was huge! And get a milkshake!!!! Wonderful staff and food mixed in with a lot of history!

Good food fair price great atmosphere.

Wonderful dining experience, has Gluten-free options. We took our Grandchild who has Celiac's and we're treated Outstandingly. CHEF JERALD, who seemed very informed on Gluten Intolerance/Allergies, came to our table several times to advise and assure us of what was available and how they would prepare her food to avoid Any and All gluten exposure. He even checked the labeling on her side orders and said he could not serve one of them to her because he could not be sure it was 100% gluten-free.Our Waitress ERICA was attentive, had the answers or went & got the answers for All our questions and concerns. Never once were we treated rude, dismissive or crazy for verifying that our Granddaughter would receive a meal that would not be detrimental to her health (as has happen in other establishments).Our only regret was that we ate too much and had no room for dessert. We actually took home 3 full to-go boxes of leftovers.We will go back again. Thank You Huggin Molly's !!!

Was a nice burger and fixings for lunch with good server. Only thing I wasn't sure about was if they had soup and salad combos for healthier eating. Had both contacts in so hard to scan menu fully.

I had the BLT sandwich with crispy bacon and a side salad. It was good. It seemed like we had to wait a bit longer than usual. The waitress was great, she always had a smile when she came to our table. I like Huggins Molly's alway have!!

Their blonde brownie with vanilla ice cream is one of the most memorable dessert experiences I've had. Don't miss the opportunity if you come here. I burped on the way home and felt blessed to have tasted it twice!

Try this neat restaurant the next time you go through Abbeville, AL. Great food, excellent service, and the building was once a pharmacy, with two adjacent buildings incorporated into it. History at its best!!
